that hand with 89 vs AA is just so sick!

yesterday I more than tripled up on the 2nd hand of a live tourney with AA.  Blinds at 25-25 to start.  I am on the button with 3 limpers.  I raise to 175.  All 3 call including the small blind.  flop is J high.  Small blind is first to act of course and bets 500.  we start with 2000 and I was the small blind first hand so I started this with 1975.  2 folds and the guy to my right calls.  I move all in and small calls and so doest the guy to my right.  They hold up as the guy on right showed AJ and the small blind mucked and never showed.  I finished 11th though as my bust out made the final table.  15000 in chips with 1000-2000 blinds I in small and I raise to 6000 and big blind calls.  In retrospect I should have moved all in and he would probably have folded.  I pot committed myself.  Bad play on my part.  I had AK and he ended up with A8 of diamonds and after 7high flop I move all in and he calls with 4 to flush and turns it.  Yeah me on the final table bubble.  I was sick that I played well all day and misplayed this hand badly.  I was honestly thinking my raise would be enough for him to fold.  He was very green.  I met him earlier in the day at a ring game and he had only played a few times.  5 or 6 times.  I thought I could just raise and he would fold without me going all in but I gave him a chance to call with a goods short handed table hand of A8 suited.  Of course in all reality I got a call with him being dominated but did not work out in my favor.  I have to play perfect cause it seems when i do make a mistake I pay the ultimate price.  I have to eliminate this from my game.

the thing I hate most about that (other than the fact that it's such a BS PS special) are the guys going LOL.  I can't believe anyone would think a beat like that is funny.  It would never happen live that someone would laugh in your face after that beat. If they did a beating would be called for.

Although I would laugh as the beatdown is in progress!!!!

Trae you need to have a home game sometime like this weekend.  My wife and kid are going to be out of town so it is 100 prooooooooocent poker weekend for me.  If not I may be tearing up cherokee on sat and osage on sunday.  Maybe.  Or I may just be done early sat.
