I had been using the Visa gift2go cards to fund my Pokerstars account.  Sunnenly today it started denying the transaction.

Has something changed that I don't know about?

Darn:

I was going to try this method.  I had been going to Wal Mart and using Money Transfer option which is Money Gram which is less expensive than Western Union.  The money gram option can be completed at Wal Mart for 9.50 or 9.95 at any Money Gram location.

Anyone else have issues using Gift 2 go cards?

Yeah, Poker Stars stopped taking them a few weeks ago.  Its starting to be a problem, luckily my Visa works on Stars but expect that to stop soon also.

OkieWhupass,

Yeah, my Gift2Go card was declined about a month ago as well. However, I found an even better solution! My wife whom is a personal banker at MidFirst suggested I try their Visa Gift Cards, which was a long shot, but it has been working for a month. If you are a MidFirst customer, you can get free Visa Gift Cards. So if you do not have an account, you can setup one for free (no direct deposit required). So I am happy now cause I do not have to pay a fee for buying a gift card and it works on Stars!

Enjoy! Smiley
