Just some questions I pose to our membership. Please help us make this forum and site a place for you to enjoy. We love how the site has grown in a small amount of time, but still want to work on it and make it all it can be.

This is just an Idea, but I think we should utilize the local live tournaments and create a tournament leaderboard. This general idea would be called the oklahomapoker.net poker tour. My suggestion is to create a tournament scheadule utilizing the local live tournaments that are already  in place at the various local casinos. I think by doing this we will expand the site in great numbers. With most of the local daily tournaments having really reasonable Buy-Ins and short feilds it also gives each player a reasonable chance to be at the top of the leaderboard. We would have to create a points system. There is 1 problem I have not been able to figure out about this idea but I think as a community we can figure it out. The problem is How will we keep track of who placed where?? Although, this would depend on our points system, we could avoid this problem by only giving points to those who cash in the tournaments. Another great thing about this idea is it will give all the members of this site a great oppurtunity to get to know eachother and get the work spread all over oklahoma about our forum and it also could bring advertisement deals with the local casinos if we grow this idea to a large scale.

I like poker vipers idea.  To make it better we need the members to interact together more.  The live tournaments will help accomplish this.

This is a good idea and is something that we have had a similar variation of. Before we have had live tournaments, but were not terribly pleased how they were managed. It is hard to approach a casino and discuss how you would like to run a tournament even when the house is still pocketing all of the proceeds.

We could use pre-existing tournaments at the casinos and not approach them at all and just use the data from those. The biggest problem that I see with it comes into verifying the data. We would love to believe that everyone is 100% completely honest, but we all know it does not happen. We want to ensure that the data posted is 100% accurate. Do you have any ideas on how to verify the data in a manner that would not be a huge task for anyone (us, poker room, and the player)?

On the other hand, there are other web sites that have a leader board based off of online tourneys. This is something we could do and would not be too difficult to employ. In addition, it would be easy to verify as well. Does this peak your interest at all?

I think everyone has pooped out a Oklahoma Poker completely.  But Florida free poker is great.  One win (which I have 3 in two weeks) gets you into the four playoff
tables, and the top 20 of each playoff, play the final on a casino cruise ship on sun nov 23.  I will be there,  first prize is $3500,second is 1500 and third is 1000, and they pay down to 10th.  really great set up.

The initiative taken for the concern is very serious and needs an attention of everyone. This is the concern which exists in the society and needs to be eliminated from the society as soon as possible.
